The details, the adventure, the hardships...

We had this really long meeting yesterday. I found out a lot about what exactly I will be doing and where we will be staying. The girl that we met with was there last spring and she gave us the scoop. (the us I am talking about is the other girl that is going to CMC, Alyssa Allen, and myself) So anyway, Mallory gave us the low down on everything, what to wear, what we will eat, what we will do on certain nights, when we have classes...everything!!!
I get more and more excited as the time goes on. I really don't know what to fully expect, but I am really excited. I know that God will use this time to stretch and mold me. I look forward to the adventure He is sending me on. Please pray that I will keep looking to God as I enter into this and throughout it. I can do everything with Him as my strength, but without Him I am nothing! God knows what He is doing...it's a good thing I like a little bit of mystery... :)
As much fun as this will be, I know it will be hard. I am nervous to go. But the hardest part is being away from those I love for so long. I think the longest time I have ever gone with out seeing people I am really close with is...ummm...I CAN'T REMEMBER!!! So yeah, I'm nervous and scared...but I trust that like in every situation I will make friends and I will have amazing memories...I am just a little nervous at this point. But once again I say, “God is good.” I trust Him in this.
Thank you for the place you have had in my life. You are such a blessing to me friend, family, mentor...whoever you may be I treasure our relationship. Thank you.
